This table was derived from a couple sources that seem to not know what they are up to. It is not especially accurate and I encourage you to take any info here with a grain of salt. Visit the series home page for the best info I have, or when populated the updated version of this table I am trying to build.
Note: Some series names are of my own devising, and are not factory information — Some may draw distinctions or similarities that are not true, and these may well change in the future.

9 mm Largo / 38 ACP |
Pistols marked 9 mm / 38 (almost all 9 mm Largo Star pistols) are designed to fire .38 ACP and 9 mm Largo ammunition, but NEVER .38 Super. Read more detail on ammunition for older pistols.
Important Safety Notice: Be sure to use the correct ammunition. These are old guns, and the wrong ammunition could cause a catastrophic malfunction, with consequences including serious personal injury or death. Also, .38 ACP is NOT .38 Super; Although it will fit, under no circumstances should .38 Super ammunition be fired in firearms chambered for .38 ACP.
